In versions 3.1.0 through 3.2.0, a remote unauthenticated attacker can stall the Node.js event loop by sending a multipart request whose boundary is crafted to a specific length. The vendored streaming search stores its skip table in a fixed 256 entry byte array, and a boundary of exactly 252 bytes makes the search needle 256 bytes, which truncates the default skip distance to zero and turns the search into a CPU bound loop on a small body. A single small request can keep one core busy and deny service to other requests handled by the same process. The issue is fixed in @fastify/busboy 3.2.1, which widens the skip table so the skip distance is preserved. Users should upgrade to 3.2.1.","2026-08-13T10:17:00Z",{"cvss_v3.1":10
"UNCHANGED","3.1",7.5,"NETWORK","HIGH","CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","NONE","LOW",true,[21,22],"CWE-835","CWE-1322",[24],"cpe:2.3:a:fastify:fastify/busyboy:*:*:*:*:*:node.js:*:*",[26],"Fastify Fastify/Busyboy",[28,29],"https://cna.openjsf.org/security-advisories.html","https://github.com/fastify/busboy/security/advisories/GHSA-xjh9-v7x6-24jw",0.57,0.00615,0.4884,false,null
"2026-08-13T14:26:38.443138Z","yes","partial","none
"CISAv1/E:N/A:Y/T:P/M:H/2026-10-25T14:35:58.891494/","attend","medium","14D",[46,52
"Exploit Public-Facing Application","attack_vector",[50],"initial-access","T1190
"Application or System Exploitation","capec",[22],[57],"impact",[59],"CAPEC-25","T1499.004",[
30,"http://web:8606/api/articles/?page=2&sorted_by=-published_at",[66,73,81,89,96,103,110,115,122,129
"PHP2Shell: Two Critical RCE Flaws in PHP (CVSS 9.2)","Unauthenticated code execution demonstrated on WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, and reproduced in our lab.
